with cadres of all railway services in disarray -especially those of sag- officers are being compelled to be dishonest about their health. one or the other
officer, and that too by rotation, is made to report sick for a specified duration. why compel people to resort to funny business for generally no fault of
theirs? accepted that many times the "love of location" is responsible but the stupidity of keeping several officers in limbo and paying them salary,
and again getting them to work for some very short time on the post is truly galling. some young officers have already started dreading their promotions to
sag.

One solution to the problem may be expediting the long pending cadre restructuring of all Railway Services. The other solution is already DOPT has issued
circular about five months back itself to effect Dynamic career progression on par with other organised services ( Wherein if a two years junior batch officer
got already promotion all the seniors of all organised services are to be given promotion w.e.f that date) Towards this already Rly. Board has issued
promotional order for more 500 doctors last month. In similar manner other services to be given befnefit as per VI pay commision reccommendations accepted by
Govt.
