Congrats Mrs Sowmya! God bless you! Hope you will have at least a few moments of fulfillment in your exalted position of the FC; a person kept very busy like all other Members of the Board, and even more so because other members add further their requirements on finance-- with the result it is a deja vu situation from day to day. Very little time remains for pausing and retrospect on an issue to act wisely, but quite often system overtakes to make us work correctly as per procedure. Yamuna flows quietly and will continue to flow in spite of us and our working. But it is a true achievement personally to reach the top most chair as FC of Indian Railways a very unique and distinguished position. My hearty congratulations- don't worry--- I have no private agenda nor any thing to demand from Railways! I can feel the inner joy of a person proceeding to Delhi, who gets to occupy that chair and recall my conversations with Vasudevan in that room.
