Railways increase booking period
Thiruvananthapuram: The time limit for advance reservation of railway tickets has been increased to 90 days from the existing 60 days (excluding the date of journey) for three months on an experimental basis.
what can be rational against such decision?
what are the advantage? hardly any body is able to plan journey 3 month in advance ? Travel agents & other people will be able to block enmasse now more comfortably.
More load will also come on PRS as now 3 month data is to kept in live condn
Advantage to public or railways appears to be nil
any comment
